Board

The Cincinnati Stix holds board meetings once a quarter to discuss important activities involving our organization.  Topics such as financial status, code of conduct, schedules, etc. are discussed and taken seriously.  Active members in good standing of the Stix are welcome to attend board meetings. Please contact the board Secretary to confirm the meeting time and location.

Kevin O'Connell

Vice President of Finance

Kevin O’Connell is a finance executive with over 25 years of business experience. He has served in various capacities on boards providing financial and strategic guidance.  Kevin has coached youth travel baseball in Arkansas, Toronto, and Cincinnati and he places emphasis on helping athletes build a positive, strong mental approach to the game.

James Muncy

James Muncy

Director of Operations

James is a lifelong Cincinnati native with degrees in Athletic Training and Health Education. He has worked in a high school setting for 25 years, including 19 years in his current role as an Athletic Trainer for a Division I Cincinnati high school. James’s expertise is injury prevention and rehabilitation, and in 2012 he was named Ohio Athletic Trainers Association Athletic Trainer of the Year. James has worked with baseball players from Major League organizations through youth teams, and he looks forward to helping Stix players become better ball players and outstanding young men.

Matt Wantz

Matt Wantz

Director of Player Development

Matt Wantz is a third-generation baseball coach following in the footsteps of his grandfather who was a 1990 Tops Baseball Card Coach of the Year.  Matt was a collegiate baseball catcher and has translated his love for the game into coaching. He has been giving private and group lessons for over 10 years and has been a Varsity coach at Wyoming High School for the past 6 years.  With his strong strength and conditioning background, Matt strives to improve his athletes both on and off the field. He hopes to bring his passion for the game, along with his baseball knowledge, to create a great atmosphere and organization for the Stix.

Jonathan Marasco

Vice President of Public Relations

Jonathan has 20 years of experience in the Communication industry and currently serves on the Corporate Affairs team of a Fortune 20 company. He looks forward to increasing the visibility and reputation of the Stix organization while showcasing its strong values.
